STAMFORD TOWN COUNCIL 
VACANCY FOR AN ADMINISTRATION OFFICER 
37HRS PER WEEK MONDAY TO FRIDAY 
(SOME WEEKEND WORK ESSENTIAL)
 
 Applicants will require the following: 


• Excellent numerical and literacy skills be conversant with all aspects of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, familiar with the use of e-mail and websites 

• Good inter personal skills and telephone manner 

• As this is a key front office role, a smart and presentable appearance is essential 

• Basic GCSE qualification is preferred but not essential 

• A knowledge of and interest in Stamford 

• There is a high element of activity required within this role

• Must be a good team player with a flexible approach and able to use their initiative

• Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary
