Finance and Personnel Committee

The Finance Committee oversees matters relating to Town Council finances, assets, personnel, grants and donations. The Finance Committee usually meets monthly and its remit covers the overseeing of:

Financial Governance – Overall Council Budget, Precept, Internal Financial controls & regulations, Internal and External Audit, Appropriate Insurance & Liability cover.Personnel – Recruitment of all staff, Appraisals of all staff, Staff wages & conditions, Complaints & Grievances Assets Register – Maintenance schedule, Oversee any agreements or contracts for the use of any asset and Valuations Working Groups – Friends of Stamford Recreation Ground and Skate Park.
